Seattle Adds Ramu Tokashiki to Training Camp Roster

The Seattle Storm Monday announced that 6-3 forward Ramu Tokashiki has signed a training camp contract with the franchise.
“We are excited about the opportunity to work with Ramu,” said Storm head coach Jenny Boucek. “She is showing great potential in Japan and is eager to test her abilities against the best in the world.”
A two-time WJBL MVP, Tokashiki led the WJBL in scoring (18.0ppg), rebounds (11.5rpg), blocked shots (2.13) and field-goal percentage (59.8) this past season. She is a three-time WJBL Championship winner (2011, 2013, 2014), and was twice voted Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese WJBL First Team, in 2013 and 2014. With the Japanese National Team at the FIBA World Championships last fall in Turkey, Tokashiki averaged 11.3 points and 5.7 rebounds.
Seattle opens the 2015 season on June 6 vs. Los Angeles.
